“I
thought I was the only one who had a child with ADHD. Since
joining the Liverpool
ADHD Foundation
I’ve turned my life around. I now help other parents
and children.”
“I
was looking for something different to do. This gave me the
opportunity to use and develop my skills.”
Can
you spare a few hours a week to volunteer withLiverpool
ADHD Foundation?
You can gain the skills to work with children and families with
ADHD. We can offer opportunities for you to help with:
The Information,
Advice & Guidance Service
Admin tasks and
reception
I.T. support
Groups for Parents,
Children and Young People
Specific projects.
Children with ADHD and their families are often excluded from
mainstream activities. Volunteering some time to work with Liverpool
ADHD Foundation
can help to remove the isolation living with ADHD can create.
Happy
and successful children are more likely to have a higher sense
of self-worth and believe they can succeed. You can be part
of that success.
Liverpool
ADHD Foundation
will provide support and a training package
and out of pocket expenses.
“Since
becoming a volunteer I have learned skills to help other parents
and children. I have been on an I.T. course. This experience
has given me the confidence to look for and succeed in gaining
employment.”
