Partnership Programme

You are here: ADHD Foundation - Children & Young People - Partnership Programme

We will provide practical training specifically tailored for young people who are experiencing difficulties and who may fall into any of the following categories:

  • have a diagnosis of ADHD
  • do not have a diagnosis but are on the pathway to diagnosis
  • do not have a diagnosis but have the characteristics of ADHD
  • are excluded, or at risk of exclusion, from school
  • have a fixed long-term exclusion
  • are in alternative education
  • are in a pupil referral unit
  • are at risk of dropping out of education.

The Partnership Programme has been designed to fit with the learning needs of young people who have difficulties with:

  • impulsivity
  • organisational skills
  • self-awareness.

The focus will be on micro-self management so that the child or young person is able to deal with everyday challenges.

The Partnership Programme will:

  • help the child or young person to identify, recognise and develop strategies to manage themselves
  • support them in accessing and continuing their education.
