We
will provide practical training specifically tailored for young
people who are experiencing difficulties and who may fall into
any of the following categories:
have
a diagnosis of ADHD
do
not have a diagnosis but are on the pathway to diagnosis
do
not have a diagnosis but have the characteristics of ADHD
are
excluded, or at risk of exclusion, from school
have
a fixed long-term exclusion
are
in alternative education
are
in a pupil referral unit
are
at risk of dropping out of education.
The
Partnership Programme has been designed to fit with the learning
needs of young people who have difficulties with:
impulsivity
organisational skills
self-awareness.
The focus will be on
micro-self management so that the child or young person is able
to deal with everyday challenges.
The
Partnership Programme will:
help the child or
young person to identify, recognise and develop strategies to
manage themselves
support them in
accessing and continuing their education.
